Cool Mac application

As some readers will know, I bought a Macbook Pro laptop in the spring of 2008. I love it and OS X, the Mac operating system. One area in which Macs have been a bit lacking is in Open Source or free applications. One I came across recently is Seashore which enables simple image manipulation. Other applications, like Photoshop or The GIMP, are much more powerful; however if you want to, say, adjust the colour of a bullet image, then Seashore makes it straightforward. It supports the concept of layers, with which Photoshop users will be familiar, and overall is a joy to use for simple tasks.
